Melipilla: Angelina and Emilia

Hector's sister, Angelina, and Emilia were baptized this weekend! It is truly amazing to see faithful people gain testimonies of this true Gospel and of Jesus Christ! People can only gain testimonies through the spirit; teaching with the spirit is the key and the only way for missionaries to convert others and bring them unto Christ. We are only the representatives and instruments in the hands of God to help His work keep moving here! If we are exactly obedient and work our tails off, God will provide! That is when we start to see miracles. Miracles are happening here in Chile! Yesterday Alonso showed up at church in a suit and tie, ready to bless the sacrament. He did the blessing perfectly! It is crazy to think that if we never knocked on his door, he wouldn't have had this opportunity. That is why we have to keep working and keep knocking doors all day, every day, because there are so many people out there just waiting for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I found out this weekend that I was transferred to El Monte! But Melipilla will always be my home. I'm so grateful that Melipilla was my first sector! I love the ward, the people and the amazing faith of the my new friends. Hector, Benji, Carlos, Tomas, Alonso, Angelina and Emilia, I love you all! I am so proud of your decision to be baptized. I will never forget you! Saying goodbye to you tonight was harder than leaving Utah. 

This week I was reading about Captain Moroni in the Book of Mormon. This guy is an absolute stud; I'm sure Captain Moroni was ripped! Go give Alma 48 a read. Captain Moroni was unshaken and firm in his faith in Christ. We, too, can be unshaken, just like Moroni. He was unshaken because of his daily preparations for battles. We can prepare daily for what we are going to encounter everyday! The best way to prepare is to read the most correct book on the planet, the Book of Mormon! I can't emphasize it enough; this book has power. At first it might be hard to really get into but that is normal and okay! Just keep reading and watch the change in your life. Well, I love ya guys! It is all true and all good! I'm so sad to hear the news about Kobe Bryant. He was such a role model for me, I loved reading his book and I really love his shoes! Time to work and focus exactly like KOBE. The missionaries need to find his wife and daughters and baptize them ASAP. #MambaMentality from here on out. We are going to keep moving. The work of the Lord never stops.
