Murray: David, Juanito and Andres

Happy Thanksgiving! What a year it has been! I am especially grateful for my Guatemalan brothers this Thanksgiving because they love God and they love the Book of Mormon! Pablo's brother, David, was baptized. It was incredible to see Pablo show pure faith and be baptized first. Then David led the way for his friends that he works with at Don Sol restaurant. David's baptism was the beginning of a miraculous month in Murray.

David's baptism was followed by Juanito and Andres'! What a miracle it has been to find ways to teach Spanish lessons here in Murray. I love speaking Spanish and I hate to think what would have happened if we had never eaten at Don Sol restaurant! Our frequent visits to Don Sol resulted in four baptisms. During Juanito's baptism I looked down from the stand at my four new brothers in the Gospel and was overcome by the spirit. My eyes filled with tears as I looked into their faces and knew that the Lord sent me to Murray, Kentucky from Santiago, Chile so that we could share the Gospel with Pablo, David, Juanito and Andres.

Last week I was transferred to Nashville, Tennessee after six months in Murray! Just like when I left Melipilla, Chile, I'm leaving a piece of my heart in Murray. I'm going to miss this little college town, Don Sol restaurant and the chapel I literally spent more time in than my apartment. I am going to miss my companions Elder Wilstead and Elder Fine. We had a blast together! We worked hard and I learned so much from their examples.

I will continue to work hard in Nashville, Tennessee! I look forward to the next chapter of my mission experience. The church is true! Read 3rd Nephi 11, it may be the best chapter in the Book of Mormon.

Love,
Elder Zwick
